Hmph! Basically describes the day I've had.
I just want to forget today ever existed.
Not much in the blogging mood so
I'll just share some pics from
the drum cake im making
Lemon Chiffon.
Lemon Chiffon Cake batter
with fresh lemon zest and lemon juice
I zested 2 whole lemons for extra lemony goodness
two of the three layers done
(scraped off the top layer to help eliminate crumbs since it just peeled right off!)
Yum! I should have made a Lemonchello Icing!
put a thin lemon-sugar glaze on each layer
to enhance the lemon-sweetness and
to keep them moist before icing
with a lemon infused buttercream.
