A holiday for I...

and for all the mamas around! Mothers day is rolling around and tho I usually dont do any big celebrations as I prefer the more simpler things in life like , home made cards and gifts, breakfast in bed cooked by my oldest, kisses and cuddles with my boys, a sunshine day to recieve all the warmth and love...

I think this Mothers day, I wana be a lil more adventureous! A weekend full of fun and exciting and new things!

So here is my list of Mothers day wants :

1. An early morning (possible sunrise) hike in the Coyote Hills.

2. Then ride up to San Francisco a.k.a. The City a.k.a Frisco to Cafe Gratitude

and enjoy a Yo Soy Bonita and indulge in a I AM ETERNALLY SWEET.

3.Take a ride down Highway 1 and enjoy the coastal scenery ...

on my way to Monterey to the aquarium =)

Spend the Day with the fishies and eating at a restaruant on Canneryrow.

4. Watch the sunset on the Beach

before driving home to relax after a full day!

Now this is just my Mothers Day Wish List of to do's, but Im determined to

make it happen and enjoy it to the fullest!

Right this moment...

Im exhausted. Drained. Food would help but work has been crazy busy and I havent found the time to stop and eat. My 30 min lunch I napped. Power naps are good. It helped but 90 more minutes would have been awesome. :)



I got a lot done today. A lot of stuff I'd rather not address. Tax papers to mail out that the stupid Turbo-Tax wouldnt let me file. Printed out rental apps for the two properities Im looking to move into. Met my quota for work before noon thanks to a difficult anesthesia case I had scheduled that the OR messed up. Blogged a bit with a morning post.



Now... I can attack the things to do this evening... like how I have to redo this baby bath cake because I found that what I have is too small :( not thrilled to realize that at 1am two nights before its due. Start on my Alice in Wonderland pieces, as I'm already 5 days late in starting them. But I turned down the Thomas the Train cake so I can dedicate my Wednesday - Saturday on this cake. Hopefully I'll figure out a design I like since I'm not thrilled about the topsy turvy any more :/

Happy Friday!

I must say, for us worker bees Friday seems to be the best day of the week!

Funny because we still have to work!

Maybe its because we know the weekend is upon us

or

that we can relax, truly relax in the evening

or

for those night clubbers; dancing and drinks!

whatever the reason, Fridays always seem to be good!

And with the past 2 days I've had at work,

Friday could not have come sooner!

I cant say it enough,

I love the sunny days!

:)

It definitely releases the rainy day blues and

depressing cabin fever from the fall/winter season.

So this weekend's plans are:

*clean off the patio

*clean out my car

*bake bake and bake some more for the fundraiser

*help a friend move

*head out to a park or marina

*BLOG!

*sketch out a cake and some cake decorations

*READ!

1 more week til I visit the school and I'm pretty

excited and anxious about it.

But lately I must admit

my mind has been on Chicago.

The dream is still there :)

One way or another, I'm going to make it happen!

Productivity

I truly wish there were more

hours in the day.

My mind races with

ten-zillion-billion things

that I want to do,

and I find myself

multi-tasking

trying to do them all at once!

My dad always said

"You should of been born with a second pair of arms!"

*giggles* lol

I must agree.

So today on my list of to-do's

that I seem to add

a new "TO-DO"

every hour,

is;

• catch up on my shows via computer (i just don't have DVR time lately)
• Finish my last essay question for my school application
• ♥ BLOG ♥
• work out on lunch
• sketch out my business logo
• order business cards
• Scan the CD cover in so I can finally add graphics and send to the group

And the list goes on....

I'm so wrapped up in cake right now its ridiculous!
